Bioware shared some info with the fans about the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition. They told fans about the new fort capture mechanic which will be a part of the game. The new fort capture mechanic will get players more involved with the game and will provide a much better and hands on experience for players.
The country of Orlais is made up of several regions and within those regions, players will have numerous areas to take over and rule as their own. Once players take control of key locations in the region like forts, players will then be able to take over surrounding locations. Dragon Age: Inquisition is different from other Dragon Age games as in this game players don’t only control the main protagonist, the Inquisitor and the party, but they will also control the head of the whole faction which will put them in charge of almost everything.
Dragon Age: Inquisition gets the players more involved in the game as they have control over almost everything. Once the player takes over a location or region, they are in control of everything. They decide how the resources are utilized, how big of an army they have, how they are going to defend their area, etc and every decision you make will effect your kingdom and everyone in it. Through these new fort capture mechanics the players will be more involved with their kingdom.
Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out on the 7th of October on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
