Fortnite is one of the most teased game for the Nintendo Switch. It has been rumored for a while now and while there was no official confirmation for it, the rumors did point towards an eventual reveal at the upcoming E3 2018.
When it comes to leaking games, Nintendo seems to have a strange way of dealing with such mistakes. They have recently ‘accidentally’ leaked Fortnite update for the Nintendo Switch. This was discovered by a fan who noticed that with the weekly eShop update. The game’s icon has also been discovered so if there was any doubt left, this new evidence should be more than enough.

This shouldn’t be a surprise after the success of the Smartphone version of Fortnite. Despite lacking proper controls, the game has exploded on the Mobile market and it seems to run rather well on a variety of different phones. The ease of porting it to other platforms due to Unreal Engine 4 means that it was only a question of when the game would arrive for the Nintendo Switch
Fortnite is a free-to-play game that offers two different modes. One is still in early access, which is Save the World mode. The other is free-to-play Battle Royale mode that is available on all platforms, and it should be the one that makes the jump to the Nintendo Switch as well.
