Fortnite Update Version 1.72 Released To Fix PS4 Crashing Issue

The latest patch for Fortnite that updated the game to version 5.21 on all platforms. PS4 owners were complaining of crashes since installing the new update so this issue seems to have been resolved by now judging from this quick update.

The download size of this new update is under 350 MB on the PS4. It fixes the crashing issue that was introduced in the new update for PS4. There are no official patch notes given for this update but you can read the full patch notes for the last update version 5.21 from here, since this seems to be mainly a stability hotfix.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is currently going through its season 5. It has become a cultural phenomenon worldwide becoming the most played game on all platforms, surpassing its rival PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It was recently released for Android smartphones after launching earlier for the iOS and Nintendo Switch. It is also available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Fortnite: Battle Royale and Save the World are developed by Epic Games. The former is a free-to-play game based on the Battle Royale mode. The latter is a town defense shooter with a campaign and story mode. It is currently in early access and utilizes the Unreal Engine 4.
