It seems like the Playground Games were right to tease us today as Forza Horizon 2 has been officially confirmed for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. It is being developed by Playground Games in collaboration with Turn 10 Studios, the original developers of Forza series on the Xbox platform.
This news was revealed exclusively by IGN and it was confirmed that the game will be heading to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 this fall.
IGN also revealed that contrary to earlier reports, the game won’t be set in Louisiana. Instead, we are now going to see the vast beauty of Southern Europe. The game will feature ‘hundreds of cars’ and a dynamic weather system, in addition to Drivatars like in Forza 5.
Playground Games were the developer of the original Forza Horizon as well, which turned out to be one of the best racer of the year 2012. If anything, it is refreshing to know that they are the one who are developing the sequel. Look forward to more info and details of the game being revealed as E3 draws closer.
