Forza Horizon 3 PC Version Update Fails to Resolve Performance Issues

The Forza Horizon 3 PC update announced on October 4 urged players to update their Windows 10 to the latest version immediately as a solution to the increasing problems with the PC patch. Unfortunately, the users reported that they still faced issues after installing the new updates, such as, framerate drops and stuttering in the game.

In another attempt to solve these issues, Turn10 and Playground Games announced a new patch, which consisted of minor fixes to specifically target the problems related to the game’s performance and stability.

Published by Microsoft Studios for Windows 10, this game is the ninth installment in the Forza series. The game features a total of 350 cars and puts the player in the role of the director of the ‘Horizon Festival’.

Although the new update is aiming to solve these issues, it hasn’t been of much help to the users yet. Players report that the game crashes more often and stutters more after the update. One Reddit user reported that his game crashed thrice in just 20 minutes.

Due to these increasing issues, players are disheartened over the lack of proper support for the game  We’ll have to see in the coming days whether or not Turn10 and Playground Games will be successful in resolving the issues with the PC version.
