Free Multiplayer Trial Coming To Titanfall 2 This Week

Following the release of Titanfall 2 last month, the game has been receiving tremendous praise from both critics and fans alike. But due to the particular time frame it was released in, between Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the game’s sales have suffered to say the least.

Now, Respawn Entertainment has announced that Titanfall 2 is set to receive a free multiplayer trial for all platforms. This trail will feature everything in the game’s multiplayer mode, including all maps, all modes, the full arsenal of weapons and even all the content that will be included in the upcoming Angel City’s Most Wanted DLC.

As mentioned before, Titanfall 2 is not doing so hot in terms of sales, which is an even greater shame when you take into account how good the title actually. From what we can tell, this free trail seems to be an attempt by EA to generate interest for the game.

This theory is also supported by the fact that any and all progress made during the trial will carry over to the full game wherever players decide to purchase it.

EA Access and Origin Access members will get first crack at the trial on 30th November, following which all other players will gain access on 2nd December. As of yet, no end date for the trial has been announced.
