Free New DLC Adds Races And Car Customization To Mafia III

As it was previously announced back in September, a bunch of free and paid post-launch content had been in development for Mafia III well before the game actually launched.

And now, following the release of the free Golden Gun DLC and a whole bunch of new outfits for Lincoln, developer Hangar 13 has released the latest batch of free content for the game. And not only do we get quite a few new outfits this time around, but we also get the much anticipated Car Customization options and Races.

The Car Customization feature allows players to modify a selection of ten cars by heading over to Big Rick’s Garage locations all over New Bordeaux. Choose from a selection of 50 unique customization items including Exhausts, Spoilers, Superchargers, Decals and Wheels.

Car Racing adds 12 different races for players to participate in all around New Bordeaux, six of which are circuit lap races and six of which are point-to-point races. These are available after the first sit-down with your three lieutenants, at which point markers for them appear on your map. Preforming well in these events will also reward players with the exotic Griffin Marauder, seen below:

The developers have also promised that more customization options and the ability to further enhance the performance of these cars is also set to arrive early next year.

You can also check out the full list of Achievements/Trophies in the game here.
