There is a brand new update today by IllFonic for Friday the 13th: The Game that implements some server related fixes.
This new update is available to download now on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you are playing Friday The 13th: The GAme on the PS4, it will patch the game to version 1.29. For those who are playing it on the PC, this update will patch the game to version 3132096.

Dedicated Server HotFix 9/26 – All Platforms
- Fixed a search cancelling issue where a player could become stuck while cancelling out of a Quick Play match search
- Fixed an issue where server uptime could cause a handshake failure when connecting to a game server.
Today’s HotFix update should start going live for all players at approximately 4pm Eastern. Please keep in mind that the update may take a while to roll out to all players on all platforms. This hotfix represents the final update from IllFonic for Friday the 13th: The Game.
Today it was announced that Friday The 13th: The Game will get a new developer going forward. It is also launching as free for PS Plus subscribers for October. The last major update for Friday The 13th: The Game added dedicated servers so this seems to be a fix to some of the issues that the players faced after the last update.
