Gears of War: Ultimate Edition to include Backward Compatible versions of all 4 titles

Gears fans were disappointed that the much anticipated Gears of War Remaster titled Gears of War: Ultimate Edition would include only the original, Microsoft has now announced that the rest of the games in the Gears series will be included with the game as well.

Microsoft revealed that all customers who purchase Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before 31 December of this year will get digital Xbox 360 Backward Compatible versions of Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgement for free. The games will be added your Library as soon as you boot up GOW: Ultimate Edition, they will however only be playable after the BC update is released and installed on your console.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition remasters the original game in 1080p and will include five previously unreleased story chapters.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition releases for the Xbox One on August 25. The game will include exclusive access to the Gears of War 4 multiplayer Beta planned for next year.
