Get Even From Farm 51 Announced For PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Coming In 2015

Get Even is a upcoming shooter from Farm 51, the developers of Painkiller: Hell and Redemption and Deadfall Adventures. They announced the game today along with a trailer.

The game is a shooter with a branching plot, that will take place inside the head of the game protagonists. Players can expect a mixture of horror bits with “ambitious new dynamic and photorealistic graphics”. Players can also utilize the in-game smartphones as weapon sight, even some guns can be used to shoot around corners.

Speaking with OXM, Farm 51 boss Wojtek Pazdur explained on why they decided to tackle an entirely different type of gameplay for their upcoming shooter.

“As an independent developer, it would be foolish to go head-to-head with the larger companies and create a ‘me too’ knock-off, and frankly we wouldn’t be interested in doing it,” commented The Farm 51 boss Wojtek Pazdur.

“We believe that there is still a ton of content and design creativity that has yet to be explored in first-person genre, as well as an audience beyond the warfare player – those are the people we are going for with Get Even.”

You can check out the official trailer below.

The game is slated for a 2015 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is unknown whether there are any plans for a Wii U version or not.
