God of War PS4 is all set to launch on April 20 which means there is now less than 3 weeks of time left before the game officially launches. While Sony is usually not that open to reviews, they seem to be rather confident when it comes to God of War PS4 and are not only giving early review copies to major outlets, but they have also set the embargo on April 12, which is more than a week earlier from the official launch date.
God of War PS4 is the first mainline game that is set in the Norse Mythology with Kratos, who now has a son that will act as a partner through the game’s story. God of War PS4 is being directed by Cory Barlog, who has previously worked on God of War 2. It is essentially a complete reboot for the series in term of gameplay although the character of Kratos is retained, but almost everything has changed for him.
God of War PS4 will also offer support for the PS4 Pro with 4K resolution and performance mode for those who will play it on their 1080p screen. The game is being developed by Sony Santa Monica and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It will launch on April 20 exclusively for the PS4.
