Gran Turismo Sport is an upcoming racing simulator for the PS4 that is being developed by the acclaimed Polyphony Digital. Since Gran Turismo is one of the most successful franchise on the PlayStation consoles, and has a huge history behind it, there is a lot of anticipation surrounding the release of the Closed Beta.
If you have registered for the Closed Beta on the official PlayStation Blog, then you might be able to download it on the PS4. The download size of this Closed Beta is rather small, weighing in at around 14 GB. You can download it directly from PS4 by checking out the notifications, provided you do get into the Closed Beta.
This is the initial phase of the closed beta which is only available to a select number of US PSN users.
March 17th – only open to selected US PSN IDs
Servers will be open at selected times. Update when these times will come available.
This will be followed by a Phase 2 that should be open to those who registered with a EU PSN account. There is no confirmed date for this phase.
Gran Turismo Sport is the first proper Gran Turismo game on the PS4. It is preceded by Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3.
