At its Paris Games Week press conference today, Sony unveiled brand new gameplay footage for Gravity Rush 2. The PS4 exclusive features Kat, the gravity defying protagonist from the original 2012 PS Vita title. The trailer shows her team up with an AI controlled ally in order to battle against a powerful boss.

The trailer also shows off Kat’s ability to manipulate gravity, through with the help of which she can either become lighter and faster or heavier and stronger. The game also features destructible environments, which Kat can manipulate to her advantage during battle.
Gravity Rush 2 is under development at Sony Japan Studio and is set to launch sometime in 2016 exclusively for the PS4. Those who didn’t get the chance to play the original Gravity Rush on the PS Vita will soon be able to get their hands on a PS4 version this December. The HD remaster is being developed by none other than Bluepoint Games.
