GTA 5 Rumored For The Nintendo Switch Along With More Unannounced Games

GTA 5 is one of the most popular ongoing game currently available in the market. While it was initially released back in 2013, the game has retained a strong presence with the focus on GTA Online, which has received numerous post-launch DLCs and free updates.

Rockstar Games hasn’t really shared any details about a potential port of GTA 5 on the Nintendo Switch, however they have shown some support with the release of L.A Noire recently, and this has led to rumors about more games from them in the future. GTA V has been one of the rumored games that is apparently being planned for a release this year on the Nintendo Switch.

The source of this rumor is reddit user¬†DasVergeben, and while his record is spotty at best with some of his leaks coming true, more recently the TMNT characters in Injustice 2, he hasn’t stopped posting his rumors for upcoming announcements. He had a rather lengthy list of rumors, most of which might end up being fake but this is why you need to take it all with a grain of salt.

The interesting part of his rumor was regarding the upcoming Nintendo Direct and the games that might be announced there. The Nintendo Direct has yet to be officially confirmed by Nintendo but it has been leaked through a third party in the form of an internal presentation by EA. Amazon also recently had listed 18 unannounced games for the Nintendo Switch, which seemed like a big coincidence after the rumors of the Direct.

The list of games that the user claims are currently in development for the Nintendo Switch include big names like GTA 5, Killing Floor 2, Injustice 2 and Wonderful 101. He also comments on the Nintendo Direct and states the date of 10th or 11th January as being planned for it. The games that he states will be shown include Metroid Prime 4, Animal Crossing Switch along with the long teased Pokemon Switch.

Considering the rumors about the direct have been ongoing for a while now, and it doesn’t seem to be that far, we can only wait for it to be confirmed and then see for ourselves if the rumors shared by this user are indeed correct. However, if you are interested in a portable GTA 5 experience, perhaps you can also try to get the result through this device.
