GTA Online Heists update is now officially available for download, as multiple users are reporting that they are able to download the update on their PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
This time around, the update is available on its official release and not some early leak like we had a few days back. The size of the update is between 4.5 to 5 GB on the current generation systems and it is smaller than 1.5 GB on previous generation systems.
Grand Theft Auto Online heists were promised a long time ago and are finally being made available to its users online. This update allows to carry heists like the main characters do in the story missions, but this time, we can do it online with other players or friends.

Grand Theft Auto Online is a separate mode from the main story mode in Grand Theft Auto V. Players can play a variety of missions including races, deathmatch and now finally heists online against other players or their friends.
