H1Z1 is currently holding an open beta of its free-to-play Battle Royale game. It is available to play on the PS4 and the game also supports the PS4 Pro hardware. Just like Fortnite, H1Z1 appears to render at 1080p resolution on the PS4 Pro however the resolution is not dynamic. The PS4 version appears to sport a dynamic resolution that can drop below 1080p and both target 60 FPS.

H1Z1 Battle Royale renders at a native resolution of approximately 1696×954 on PS4. On PS4 Pro the game renders at a native resolution of 1920×1080. Note that both versions have a row of black pixels at the very bottom of the frame and 2 columns of black pixels at the very right of the frame. These black pixels should be imperceptible during gameplay.
H1Z1 Battle Royale has enjoyed a tremendous success on the PS4. Unlike Xbox One, there is still a lack of a proper Battle Royale game since PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is still exclusive to the Xbox One. This has given some publishers the choice to bring their Battle Royale games to the PS4 that can be enjoyed by the massive player base of the platform.
H1Z1 Battle Royale can be currently played on the PS4 in its open beta. The game has been downloaded by more than 4.5 million users so far.
