H1Z1 is a battle royale game that originally started as a survival-focused game. Once the Battle Royale craze took off, the developers released a free-to-play Battle Royale build for H1Z1 and that was later changed to be the main game.
The new update for H1Z1 will patch the main game to version 3163261 on PC while it is not available to download on the PS4. The servers also underwent scheduled maintenance ahead of the release of this new patch.
H1Z1 Update Version 1.44 Patch Notes For PC and PS4

- Better loot density
- Increased Arrow and Explosive arrow damage
- Improved Weapon melee damage
- Version 1.0 bug fixes
That’s it for the patch notes. The servers will also go down today from 9:30am PDT and will be download for approximately 3 hours.
H1Z1 Battle Royale is available to play now on the PC and PS4. It has already amassed millions of downloads on the PS4 and ended up being a success for the developer Daybreak Games.
