The second phase of the Street Fighter V beta is currently underway, and participants now have access to larger set of characters to play with. While the beta doesn’t officially support local multiplayer, there’s a workaround that will allow you to play the game’s training mode locally with a friend.
The process involved in setting up the game for local multiplayer can be seen in the video below.

All you have to do is begin searching for a ranked match and head into the dummy settings during training. From there, you’ll see the option to set it so that a second player can play with you. Keep in mind, though, that all meters reset after each individual round. That said, it’s still better than playing against a dummy.
Street Fighter V is set for release on the PS4 and PC sometime in the first quarter of 2016. The beta will begin for PC players on the October 24. Be sure to share your impressions with us in the comments below.
