Here’s A List Of HD Remasters For PS4 And Xbox One Rumored To Make An Appearance At E3

E3 is just a few days away and as we are getting closer, the hype for E3 is increasing with time. HD remasters are unfortunately going to become the norm going forward – we have already got confirmation about some of them, while some are still up in the air.

As is the case with most new console releases, they often get ‘definitive edition’ version of a previous generation game. The ones that have been officially confirmed include The Last of Us Remastered and Metro Redux. These are not the only ones that have a chance of appearing at E3, you can take a look at a few titles below that are almost certain to make an entry at E3.

PlayStation 4 Exclusives

 God of War: Ascension

This has yet to be officially confirmed but it was rumored to be coming to the PlayStation 4 last month by an Industry Insider, who has a pretty good track record with such leaks. The chances of such a HD Remaster happening for God of War: Ascension are pretty high, since the game was released at the tail end of the PlayStation 3 lifecycle, and just like The Last of Us, could receive a facelift for the PlayStation 4.

Beyond: Two Souls

Beyond: Two Souls was a title that received a release on the PlayStation 3 at the end of last year. This one has got a sure fire chance of coming to the PS4, as it was already leaked that a “Director’s Cut” version of the game is in the works, as discovered by one NeoGAF user. It also showed the DualShock 4 controller layout for the game, which is another confirmation of this remaster on the PS4.

Xbox One Exclusives

Halo 1-4: The Master Chief Collection

First leaked on NeoGAF by a legit industry insider ‘ntkrnl’, Halo 1-4: The Master Chief Collection was rumored to be coming to the Xbox One this year. The signs are strong for this one and enough hints have been given regarding it that there is no doubt that this one is happening.

Halo-look-up

These remasters listed above have a high chance of getting confirmed at E3. Now what about the ones that are less likely, but can still happen knowing that there is always a likelihood of them becoming true.

Uncharted Trilogy HD For PlayStation 4

This was rumored quite a while ago. While the rumor seemed mostly fake, there is no denying that the Uncharted series can definitely benefit from an updated port for the PlayStation 4. Not to mention the fact that there is actually a video of Uncharted 3 running at 60 fps. It can also serve as a good introduction to all the newcomers to the series, who want to get into Uncharted 4, which is confirmed to continue the adventure of Nathan Drake.

Mass Effect Trilogy for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

This was never hinted but knowing Electronic Arts, it won’t be surprising to see them releasing the popular Mass Effect trilogy before a new Mass Effect game. The GM of Bioware certainly liked this idea, lets hope he can pursue the higher ups to do this one too.

What do you have to say to the games listed in this article? Are you excited for any one of them? Let us know in the comments below.
