Deep Silver has announced today that the Closed Beta for their upcoming open-world title, Homefront: The Revolution will be held on February 11, 2016 on the Xbox One. This was announced on the game’s official Twitter account.
Homefront: The Revolution’s Closed Beta will be held from February 11 on the Xbox One and will end after three days, on February 14. Those who are interested in taking part in this beta can register themselves on the game’s official website for a chance to get access to this beta. Along with this Closed Beta, Deep Silver will also invite a few selected players to a stress-test which will be held on January 29 till February 5th.
In addition to this, Deep Silver has also announced that Homefront: The Revolution will be getting a co-op mode known as Resistance. You can have a look at some screenshots from this mode below.
Resistance is a four-player online co-operative mode where you will team up with three other players to from a Resistance Cell and battle against the KPA Military based in Philadelphia. Players will be able to unlock new character customization options, weapons, gear and better equipment as they make progress through Resistance. There will be a total of 12 missions available for you to complete. 20 more missions will be added in the game some time after its release as a free DLC.
Homefront: The Revolution is set to launch on May 17, 2016 in North America for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and on May 20, 2016 in the rest of the world. The game is developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver.
