During their press conference at E3 2016, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed a brand new gameplay video of their upcoming RPG title, Horizon Zero Dawn. The gameplay starts with the game’s protagonist, Aloy, who tries to reach a specific location while fighting various robotic creatures on her way.
The gameplay video also reveals how players can use various weapons to take out their enemies. Flame and Shock arrows can be used to set enemies on fire and to stun them. Players can set different traps to perform silent take downs. Along with this, players will be able to craft and upgrade weapons using parts. Parts can be found by exploring the land and can be looted from enemies.
Horizon Zero Dawn takes place 1000 years into the future where robotic creatures have taken control of the human civilization.The game’s RPG elements will be similar to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Assassin’s Creed.
Horizon Zero Dawn will be released on February 28, 2017 for the PS4. The game is developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
