One of the games, we can’t wait for, is inFAMOUS: Second Son. Sucker Punch have put in a lot of time into this game. This game will certainly be one to remember throughout the year.
Sucker Punch founder Brian Fleming talked about how hard the early stages of the game’s development were and how the developers have made improvements to the game’s Combat compared to the previous inFAMOUS games.
In an interview on Examiner, Brian Fleming said, “The whole system was rewritten after inFamous 2. It was an enormous undertaking and made the first year of the project kind of a pain in the ass, because the enemies were behaving very badly.
“But we’re finally over that hump and now we’re spending time polishing and improving those encounters and giving enemies more specific things to do.
“We spent a lot of time watching people playing the game, learning how the AI can be improved. It’s not one quantum improvement, it’s [lots of] little improvements, and they all add up to the combat being a marked improvement over our previous games,” Fleming said.
Sucker Punch has worked on the Combat System for a year. They clearly want this game to go above and beyond any other game ever made. They are pulling out all the stops to make this game the best it can be.
People who got the play the demo at Taipei Game Show in Taiwan, had nothing but good things to say about the game. The game has amazing graphics and visuals as we saw at E3. People can’t wait to get their hands on this game.
inFAMOUS: Second Son will be available exclusively for PS4 users from the 21st of March, 2014.
