The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta was supposed to start on October 14th and conclude on October 17th. However earlier today, Infinity Ward announced that the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta is being extended for 24 hours. The Beta was extended to provide more time for testing the game, as well as gathering feedback from the community.
However, the Beta extension was not the only thing Infinity Ward offered to the fans. They added a new game mode to the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta. After downloading a small playlist update, fans were able to play one of the most played game modes in Call of Duty called Gun Game.
For those of you who are new to Call of Duty, Gun Game is a free-for-all mode. In gun game, when a player kills an enemy, there gun will switch to a new weapon. First player to reach the score limit wins. Gun game is a fun game mode to play with your friends. The game mode was originally introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops as a part of the Wager match game modes.
Infinity Ward also released an update for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta which fixed the matchmaking issues that the community was complaining about. The update also added Kill Confirmed and a new map called Precinct to the Beta. The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta will be coming to an end this Tuesday, however, it will go live once again for PS4 users when the Beta is available for Xbox One next weekend.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available on November 4th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
