Many characters in the game have great combo starters that allow the players to start a combo with a move that deals considerable damage, however, in Grodd’s case, he has some amazing combo finshers that deal a lot of damage. Two of the best combo finishers for Gorilla Grodd are 1, 1, 2 Grab and 2, 2, 3 which sends the enemy falling.
Grodd can start up a combo with his leap which can be performed by d, f + 1. When you do this, Grodd leaps into the air and grabs his opponent, so you can use your MB to toss your enemy into the air and start up a combo on him/her.
Like other characters in the game, Gorilla Grodd has a special power, Telekinesis. You can use his powers to hover with d, d + 1. While hovering in the air, you can use your light attack to start up a combo, or you could reposition yourself by moving your analog to the left or right twice. Aside from hovering in the air, Grodd’s powers can also make him complete immune to projectiles with d, d + 3. This ability is great against ranged heroes but it uses CP.
