Sony’s home country of Japan is always getting the better stuff as far as console accessories are concerned and we’ve just come to know that the land of the rising sun is getting a brand new Dualshock 4 controller color. The new Dualshock 4 controller which is the same color as the one included in the recently announced Uncharted 4 bundle has a blue to grayish shade and looks pretty damn good if I say so myself.
The new color option increases the colors in Japan from 8 to 9, while in the West we only have 5 colors available.
The new gray-blue Dualshock 4 controller for the Playstation 4 will retail for 6,500 or around $55 and is available now for pre-order on Amazon Japan. If you really like the color then you can import the controller and use it with your current console as the controller is not region locked. We’re not sure if the new color will be available in Western regions soon but we’ll keep you posted as we find out more.
