Persona 5 is slowly nearing its summer release in Japan and retailers in the land of the rising sun are starting to put up advertisements in stores for what will clearly be one of the biggest games of the year.
One of the biggest Japanese games, manga and anime retailers Animate recently put up an image on Twitter (via PersonaCentral) showcasing their Persona 5 themed section full of Persona merchandise. The image below is from the Animate stored located in the Machida area of Tokyo.
Not really much to the new advertisement really as they mostly feature art and images we’ve seen before.
This is the second set of advertisement for the game after the “Search for the Phantom Thieves” event back in September 2015.
Developed by Atlus’ P-Studio the game will star a band of thieves as they help people by stealing the ill will in their hearts. Many of the iconic Persona elements including Social Links will be making a return.
Persona 5 after three excruciating delays will finally release this summer in Japan and in Western regions later this year. The game is in development for both the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
