Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball FighterZ Fighter Pass 2 beginning first with both Jiren and Videl. These are two great characters that are now a part of the character roster in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
If you are not a fan of the series, it might be hard to understand these two newcomers. Jiren was a great addition when he was first introduced in Dragon Ball. His character design gives him an interesting alien-like look and he sports a muscular build. His fighting moves in Dragon Ball FighterZ closely resemble his powers that have been teased in the show. He feels a little hard to control but if you are skilled enough, getting to learn the depth of his combat shouldn’t be a problem and it feels rewarding.
Videl is another newcomer to the game that has a strong colorful personality. While Jiren has a more hard-hitting build, Videl attacks aggressively. Her moves are aimed at getting the most damage done if you can master her combos. She is easy to understand and doesn’t seem difficult to play if you are familiar with the game. She partners up with Saiyaman and can dish out some powerful tag team moves.
After the addition of both Jiren and Videl, there are four more characters that are confirmed to be a part of the fighter pass for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Two of them were teased in the announcement video for Jiren and Videl. Broly (Dragon Ball Super) and Gogeta (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, aka Super Saiyan Blue) are the upcoming fighters leaving only two unannounced ones. I am curious to see which ones will be brought for Dragon Ball FighterZ but needless to say, the second season of Dragon Ball FighterZ feels solid so far.
