Katamari Damacy Reroll Launches On December 7th, Priced At $30

During the recent Nintendo Direct, Bandai Namco confirmed that a remaster of the first Katamari Damacy will be released on the Nintendo Switch and PC. The release date for this remaster has been confirmed now along with the launch price and it seems to be a budget release.

Katamari Damacy Reroll is a remake of the first game that features enhanced visuals while there are additional control options available for users on the Nintendo Switch including motion controls.

Players will be able to take Katamari Damacy Reroll on the go with their Nintendo Switch! Using the joy-cons, control the katamari using the gyro controls to turn and shake the joy-cons to perform the Prince Dash when in table-top mode. Players can also play on multiplayer mode with a friend by using the two Joy-cons on the Switch.

All the cutscenes in the game are now recreated in HD while the game will also offer HDR support for PC. It will run at 60 FPS on the PC and Nintendo Switch. The game is expected to release on December 7th, 2018 and can be bought for $30 on PC or Nintendo Switch.

If you haven’t played any Katamari Damacy game, they can be incredibly fun experience as you roll around a giant ball of garbage that can slowly increase in size and then gradually starts eating up other big objects. It was a unique idea when it originally launched for the PS2 and the first game is particularly remembered for its level design so those who want to return to the world of Katamari Damacy are in for a treat with this remaster.
