King Of Fighters ’94 Releasing On PS4 Today

Hamster Corporation director, Taeko Muto, has announced that King of Fighters ’94 is finally coming on PS4 today. King of Fighters’94 will be the first game of the new ACA Neo Geo series being launched by Hamster. This series aims to bring back many classic SNK games to the PS4.

Hamster has been working tirelessly over the past 3 years, for its Arcade Archive series, trying to bring classic coin-op games to PS4. Games like Renegade, Ninja-Kid, and Double Dragon are part of this series.

King of Fighters ’94 was a trend setter when it was released back in 1994. It brought a special move system in a three-on-three battle format that took the fighting game genre to the next level. Ever since then this series has continued in its efforts to engage fans in a thrilling fighting tournament concept, including its latest release on PS4, The King of Fighters XIV.

Hamster has also announced a few games that players can expect in the near future. Games like Metal Slug, Samurai Shodown, Alpha Mission II, Fatal Fury and World Heroes will join the Neo Geo listing in 2016. While Neo Turf Masters and Nam-1975 are expected at the start of 2017.

PS4 owners will be able to download The King of Fighters ’94 from the PlayStation store, starting today, though the price has still not been revealed.
