Square Enix has released a brand new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX that shows off what new features have been added to them game from the previously Japanese only Final Mix releases. The Final Mix releases of Kingdom Hearts II and Birth By Sleep are of course included in the HD collection as well as cutscenes from Re: Coded. Check out the trailer below:

As seen in the trailer the new features include over 40 new items including new keyblades and new boss fights such as Monstro and Roxas. There will also be new cutscenes including “How it all Began” which shed light and detail on certain story aspects. Hardcore players will also be able to take on more challenges and explore the Cave of Rememberence.

I’m very excited to finally play the Final Mix versions of both Kingdom Hearts II and Birth By Sleep, they’re my favorite Kingdom Hearts games so December can’t come any sooner. Hopefully we see more on Kingdom Hearts III next month at TGS.

Kingdom Hearts 2.5 hd ReMIX releases exclusively for the Playstation 3, December 3 in North America and December 5 in Europe. Looking forward to the game? Let us know your thoughts about the trailer in the comment below.
