Square Enix has delayed Kingdom Hearts 3 to January 2019 after confirming earlier that it was still scheduled to release in 2018. The game was announced to launch in Q4 2018 but more recently, at the Kindom Hearts World Orchestra Tour during E3 2018 week, Square Enix has confirmed that the game will launch o January 29th, 2019 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is the third and final chapter in the long-running series. It started with the original Kingdom Hearts that launched for the PlayStation 2 in 2002. The third and final chapter is finally getting released in January 2019 making it almost 17 years since the series started.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is still planned for the PS4 and Xbox One. It has received 2 remasters so far this generation for the PlayStation 4. There are 3 mainline games and numerous spin-offs of the series released so far. Xbox One release will mark it for the first time since a Kingdom Hearts game has made its way to the Xbox One.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to launch earlier in Japan with a release date of January 25th while it will be available in Europe and America on January 29th. Square Enix has promised more trailers in the coming days so expect to see more Kingdom Hearts 3 during the E3 week.
