Square Enix Is Open To Bringing All Kingdom Hearts Games To Xbox One

Square Enix has revealed the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 for the PS4 and Xbox One at this year’s E3. The game is set to launch on January 29th worldwide while Japan will get it a few days early, on January 25th.

While PS4 users can enjoy all of the Kingdom Hearts games on a single platform, the series still hasn’t made it ways to the Xbox One aside from just Kingdom Hearts 3. This has made the fans skeptical that they won’t be able to play the complete series if they are restricted to just the Xbox One.

Kingdom Hearts creator and game director Tetsuya Nomura was recently interviewed by IGN, where he was asked about bringing the rest of the Kingdom Hearts games to the Xbox One. According to Nomura, they are open to bringing these games but they still haven’t had the time to discuss it with Microsoft. He said that no conversation between Square Enix and Microsoft has happened regarding the previous Kingdom Hearts games.

Square Enix has recently announced a Kingdom Hearts collection for the PS4. It is a digital pre-order of Kingdom Hearts 3 that comes with Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.8. This is essentially the complete collection of Kingdom Hearts games and the price for it has been set as $100, making it cheaper to own if you want to get up-to-date with the series ahead of Kingdom Hearts 3 next year.
