Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Collection Announced For PS4, Out March 28th

Square Enix has announced a brand new Kingdom Hearts collection for the PS4. This collection will be released on March 9th in Japan, March 28th in North America and March 31st in Europe.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix features the previously released two collections for the PS3, but this time in silky smooth 60 fps. This is an improvement over the original PS3 release which ran at 30 fps.

Since the game is an action RPG with importance on reflexes, it should be a noticeable improvement when played in 60 fps. You can watch the announcement trailer below.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix was originally released for the PS4 back in 2014. It featured the HD remasters of the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 collection featured Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts: reCoded.

This collection will be available for purchase exclusively on the PS4 for the price of $50. It includes 4 games as well as 2 interactive movies explaining the story featured in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days and Kingdom Hearts: reCoded. The collection will be released on a single disc.

This is essential to understand the story of the Kingdom Hearts series before jumping into Kingdom Hearts 3.
