Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Release Date Announced; New Trailer Teases Kingdom Hearts 3

Square Enix has officially confirmed the release date for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX on the PlayStation 3. The game is set to release on December 2nd in North America and December 5th in Europe. Square Enix has also released a new trailer along with the announcement, which you can check below. Keep your eyes peeled for a surprise at the end of the trailer.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will contain 3 games from the series. Kingdom Hearts 2 was originally released on the PlayStation 2, and received a Final Mix release exclusive to Japan. It has been finally localized for the west and will be included with the HD ReMIX. Kingdom Hears: Birth By Sleep was originally available for the PSP. It also received a Final Mix version for Japan, which is now available for the west thanks to this collection. Lastly, the HD ReMIX will also contain the fully remastered cutscenes detailing the story of Kngdom Hearts: Recoded, which was released on the Nintendo DS.


Earlier this week, Square Enix also released some brand new screenshots of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. The game will be playable at the upcoming E3 gaming expo.
