A Japan exclusive Kingdom Hearts III themed PS4 has been announced for Japan. The console will launch alongside the game in January and will be sold exclusively through Sony’s website.
The Kingdom Hearts III PS4 will not come with any games, so you’ll have to buy Kingdom Hearts III separately. The console does however come in two storage options – 500GB and 1TB. The package will include the console, a special themed top cover, black Dualshock 4, mono headset, HDMI cable and a digital Kingdom Hearts III theme.
In related news a new demo for the game was just shown off.
The 500GB will sell for around $300 while the 1TB console will sell for around $350.
Do note this is the standard PS4 and not the Pro, a Kingdom Hearts III PS4 Pro was announced back at E3 2018. That console came with a themed PS4 Pro along with Kingdom Hearts 1 + 2.5 HD, Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III.
Kingdom Hearts III releases for PS4 and Xbox One in the West on January 25, 2019. It arrives in Japan a few days early on January 25, 2019.
