Cliff Bleszinski has worked on games like Gears of War under Epic Games but when he left them behind, he started his own game development studio with Boss Key Productions. Their first project was LawBreakers which is available to play on PS4 and PC but it didn’t manage to get much attention despite launching near the popularity of multiplayer games.
Cliff Bleszinski has announced today on Twitter that he has decided to shut down Boss Key Productions. They had recently released Radical Heights on Steam Early Access, which is a free-to-play Battle Royale game. While Bleszinksi did confirm that the servers for Radical Heights will remain open, he has decided to shut down any development by closing his studio.
You can check out the tweet below which shares a statement by Cliff Bleszinski on this whole situation and what he has decided for the future.

Radical Heights was the next project from Boss Key Productions. It tried to capitalize on the success of the Battle Royale genre by developing a game with a twist. It didn’t manage to do so well and since it was free-to-play, it possibly didn’t make enough revenue for them to keep the studio open for further projects.
