Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut Free for PlayStation Plus Subscribers

This month has some amazing titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers to enjoy. We already got a chance to play Tomb Raider, a reboot of the classic Tomb Raider series and one of the best games of 2013 in my opinion.

On Tuesday, after the PlayStation Store update. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to add another awesome game to their collection. The game I’m talking about is Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut.

At a glance Lone Survivor’s art style won’t scare you at all but as you progress through the game, it will scare the living 8-bit out of you. The game can get really creepy. You take control of an equally creepy guy and try to escape the city by any means necessary. Resources are limited so you have to play tactically. Hide in the dark and manoeuvre yourself around the enemies without alerting them and get yourself out of danger. Be careful as Flesh eating monsters won’t show any mercy if they see you.

In Lone Survivor, the choices you make affect your character and the outcome of the game. You can survive without firing a single bullet or you can shoot everything in sight. Eat and sleep properly or take drugs to keep you going. You can also have other survivors with you and have a group to help you on your journey or you can be a lone wolf and survive and escape the city on your own. Make sure you are mentally healthy or else you will go insane. This game has multiple endings so make your choices carefully.

Lone Survivor will be available for PS Plus Subscribers on Tuesday, 11th of March. This game is a Cross-Buy which means it will be available for both the PS3 and the PS Vita.
