As we all know LucasArts was shut down a while back. A book about the history of LucasArts, Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts, revealed a number of titles that were in development, but were then cancelled.
One of the titles in the book is Star Wars: Episode VII – Shadows of the Sith. This might or might not have anything to do with the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII movie, being directed by J.J Abrams. If the two are linked, then we know that the newest Star Wars movie will be called “Shadows of the Sith”.
It’s funny how so many Star Wars games were planned, most of them seeming very interesting such as Jedi Knight III and Rebel Scum. There are even games called Star Wars: Vader and Star Wars: Han Solo – both of which would have been exciting to see, if not play.
You can see the image of the section of the book that lists the cancelled games, below. The book is also up for sale at Amazon (for now, at least) if you are interested.
What do you think of these cancelled games? Do you think they would’ve been a commercial and critical success if they were released?
