Mad Max Is Making It’s Way To Mac And Linux

Based in the same universe as the critically acclaimed Mad Max franchise, Mad Max, the 2015 open world adventure game, is finally set to get a release on both the Mac and Linux. No official release date has been announced yet though.

Mad Max takes place in a post-apocalyptic world and places players in the role of Max Rockatansky, as he attempts to fights for survival against the various savage factions of the Wasteland. The gameplay places an emphasis on both melee and vehicular combat, and gives players control of the Magnum Opus, a highly customisable vehicle that can use up to six potential bodies and be equipped with various weaponry.

The game’s plot follows Max Rockatansky’s journeys to the Plains of Silence, during which he has a run-in with Scabrous Scrotus, the son of Immortan Joe. Scrotus then proceeds to defeat Max, and makes off with his iconic V8 Interceptor. Max must then set off on a journey to retrieve his beloved car, all the while liberating Wasteland territories from the War Boys.
