Mafia 3 domain name registry spotted

A series of domain names related to the unannounced Mafia 3 were recently registered. It seems as if the game is on the verge of getting an official announcement. Despite several rumors surrounding its announcement, the game remained absent at this year’s E3.

The listing can be seen below.

The voice actor behind Mafia 2’s protagonist, Rick Pasqualone, has previously hinted at the imminent announcement for the sequel. It was expected that this announcement would happen at E3 2015, but it seems as if the game wasn’t quite ready for a public reveal back then.

In addition, Asian online retailer Play-Asia has also listed Mafia 3 for both PS4 and Xbox One, along with its tentative box art image.

The latest evidence all but confirms the game’s existence, however, given that Take2games has registered multiple domain names for the game. We’ll keep you posted with regards to an official confirmation as it becomes available. In the meanwhile, let us know what you’re expecting from the sequel to Mafia 2 in the comments below.
