Nintendo gave fans just what they wanted in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The Battle Mode on the Nintendo Switch has eight different arenas to battle in.
This guide will help you win in all the game types, Battle mode has to offer. This will make it easier for you to beat your friends at the game, and come out victorious.
Tips On How To Win Battle Mode In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe:
In Battle Mode, players will have to compete in several different game types. These game types will have players score points in different ways. Tips on how to win in every game mode, are given below.
Balloon Battle:
In Balloon Battle, players will score points by popping the balloons on the enemy karts. The more balloons you pop, the more points you get. You don’t get eliminated if you run out of balloon, however, if you run out of balloons, you will respawn and your score will be halved.
To win this game mode, concentrate on popping your enemy’s balloons, rather then doing everything you can to protect your balloons. Trap power-ups are very useful in this game mode, as you can surround an area with traps. Banana peels might not be good in other game modes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but in Balloon Battle, they work wonders. Just surround an area with Banana peels and you will be good to go.
Coins Runners:
The objective of this game mode is to collect as many coins as possible, before the timer runs out. The player with the most coins wins, however, make sure you don’t get attacked. If an enemy lands an attack on you, you will lose some of your coins. So alongside collecting coins, you will have to attack your opponents as well, so that they lose coins.
The tactic to win this game mode is similar to Balloon Battle. Use Shells and banana peels to shield yourself any enemy attacks, and also use these power-ups to attack your enemies, so that they lose their coins.
Shine Thief:
In Shine Thief, players have to hold onto the Shine, while defending themselves from enemy attacks. The best tactic for this game mode is to hold onto defensive power-ups. Defensive power-ups will help you hold onto the Shine.
Renegade Roundup:
Renegade Roundup is a team-based game mode where one team act as the renegades while the other team acts as the cops. The cops have the catch all the renegades and trap them in a cell, while the renegades must not get caught and they have to free their teammates from the cell. This game mode require a lot of driving skill, as players have to catch or run, as well as free their teammates from the cell.
These are all the game types available in Battle Mode. Hopefully this guide helped you win the game mode with ease. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is now available on the Nintendo Switch.
