Marvel’s Avengers Could Be Targeting A Release Before April 2021

Marvel’s Avengers will be officially revealed at E3 2019. Square Enix is going to show the game there but there is still no hint at a possible release date.

Square Enix has shared an outline of their financial result for FY 2019 and also talked about their future plans for FY 2020 and beyond. They expect the revenue to remain steady for the next fiscal year which ends in March 2020. This is despite the fact that they haven’t announced any major games in this fiscal year while they had Just Cause 4, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Kingdom Hearts 3 in FY 2019.

In addition to this, Square Enix expects a major bump in their revenue from FY 2021 which can be attributed to a potential release of their ambitious Avengers project. They don’t expect a bump in revenue for this fiscal year until September 2019 and it is possible that they might launch the first part of Final Fantasy VII Remake between September/October to end of March 2020.

Sources place the release date of Final Fantasy VII Remake in the 1st half of 2020 in addition to The Last of Us Part 2 and Cyberpunk 2077. Both of these might get an announcement as we get closer to the mega event.
