Marvel’s Avengers leaked footage gives us the first glance at gameplay

Around 12 minutes of Marvel’s Avengers gameplay has leaked from a private showing of the game at E3 2019. The off-screen footage shows us actual gameplay for the first time.

Marvel’s Avengers was officially unveiled at Square Enix’s E3 conference with a trailer, however there was no actual gameplay footage. The leaked footage here shows the game to have a very action-heavy gameplay approach with each Avenger playing significantly different.

The game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos Montreal. The game has been in development for several years now and is rumored to be a GaaS title.

A Beta for the game is planned although a release date has not been announced yet. The Beta is said to release on the PS4 first, followed by other platforms at a later date.

Check out the footage below:

Marvel’s Avengers is due to release next year on May 15, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC.
