Marvel’s Spider-Man developer Insomniac Games is having a lot of fun with the new update. They have even referenced to the infamous ‘puddle-date’ with a photo mode sticker.
If you don’t remember now, there was a controversy that the game’s graphics were downgraded after the initial E3 2016 reveal. This was backed by a comparison that showed that one scene, in particular, was missing reflections and water puddles across the stage. This turned out to be more of an artistic change and the final game even ended up as an upgrade.
Insomniac Games has now created a new stick of ‘puddles’ that is available after installing update version 1.08 for the game. This puddle sticker was tweeted with the same old picture by one of the UI designer at Insomniac Games.
We have a new patch today! Not only do we have NG+, but we added a bunch of stuff in Photo Mode, including:
stickers
frames
rotation for stickers
shortcut to Photo Mode with the D-Pad…
…and I fixed this for you 🙂 pic.twitter.com/SW7Jxrxab6— Gil Doron (@GilFromUI) October 19, 2018
This is not the only thing that was shared by Insomniac Games today. They have also made a reference to the popular Spider-Man meme from the old animated TV show. This is often used to mock the hypocrisy of someone. We can see two Spider-Man pointing fingers at each other. It is surprisingly accurate here.
Marvel’s Spider-Man will get a new DLC on October 23. This DLC will be a part of the Season Pass and it is based on Black Cat and introduces her character. If you want to see what exactly is included in the new game plus mode, find out all the details from here.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is available now exclusively on the PS4. It was developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
