The download size of this update version 1.09 is just 200 MB. Judging from the size, this is a rather small update that was released after the new story DLC to fix any potential bugs. The same patch notes are repeated for update version 1.08 so this seems to be more of a hotfix without any major changes to the game.
In case you haven’t kept up with the support of game post-launch, it has done rather well and it just recently received an update for new game plus mode. This new game plus mode update also included an ultimate difficulty so fans who are looking for an extra challenge or excuse to attempt the game again can now check it out.
As for the rest of the updates, there was a free suit added on day one while there are tons of bug fixes released so far. Insomniac Games has also confirmed that two more story DLC will be released later this year. The first DLC focused on Black Cat and it is called The Heist. You can buy it individually for $9.99 or get it as part of the season pass for $24.99, which includes two additional episodes.
Marvel’s Spider-Man has charted at the of NPD sales ranking and also broke the sales record for God of War on PS4. It is currently available exclusively for the PS4. The game was developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
