Fans are gearing up for the release of the upcoming third-person RPG called Mass Effect: Andromeda. Everyone expected the game to be released for the Nintendo Switch. However, that is not the case.
Producer of Mass Effect Andromeda and the Mass Effect Trilogy, Mike Gamble, told DualShockers that BioWare is not planning on bringing the game to the Nintendo Switch, however, he said that if the fans are interested, they might consider it.
Gamble said, “We’re not planning on it. If the Switch launches and everyone’s just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows. We never want to close doors like that”. So there might be a Nintendo Switch version of the game, if the fans want it. BioWare has released games for Nintendo consoles in the past, as Wii U owners got a chance to play third installment of the Mass Effect series.
In the DualShockers interview, Gamble said that they will discuss the PS4 Pro enhancements for the game “in January or February.” He also revealed that they will enhance the game for Microsoft’s Project Scorpio.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is being developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. The game is set to come out in the first half of 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
