Mega Man Legacy Collection Release Date for Nintendo 3DS announced

Nintendo today revealed the details about the release date and challenges in Mega Man Legacy Collection for Nintendo 3DS during its Nintendo Direct livestream. The game was previously released for PS4, Xbox One and PC earlier this year. Mega Man Legacy Collection will come with 11 exclusive challenges that can be unlocked using the Mega Man amiibo or a special newly-announced gold amiibo.

A digital and physical edition of the game will also be available along with a collector’s edition. The collector’s edition includes a set of 6 Mega Man postcards and Exclusive gold-colored Mega Man amiibo. Moreover, a retail version will also be released on the same day for PS4 and Xbox One which includes a complete cheat sheet of Robot Master and number of soundtracks from Mega Man 1-6.

Nintendo 3DS Standard Edition (Price $29.99):

  • Full game
  • 2 Nintendo 3DS Mega Man Themes
  • Sample compilation soundtrack featuring 18 songs from Mega Man 1-6
  • 4 Mega Man stickers

Nintendo 3DS Collector’s Edition (Price $49.99):

  • Standard edition, including all physical bonus items
  • Set of 6 Mega Man postcards
  • Exclusive gold-colored Mega Man amiibo

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 retail version (Price $29.99):

  • Full game
  • Robot Master cheat sheet
  • Sample compilation soundtrack featuring 18 songs from Mega Man 1-6
  •  4 Mega Man stickers

Mega Man Legacy Collection will be available on February 23th, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.  It is a mixture of accurate emulation, a clean interface, archival content, and intense challenges.
