With all those Black Friday deals being offered in the gaming industry, the Virtual Reality (VR) industry has also made sure to get in on the action. HTC is offering hardware and software discounts while Oculus Store also has a small sale going on. But the most significant of these sales is the one on Merge VR Headset.
Merge VR Headset is available on a discounted price at select retailers. The price of the device has been reduced from $79.99 to $59.99 until the end of this year. That’s a significant discount on a VR head-mounted display (HMD) compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Dan Worden, Merge Executive Vice President (EVP), said during a press release:
“We’ve seen the appetite for VR grow exponentially over the past year, it has even become a ‘must have’ technology for many. We want people to enjoy a high quality, fun, and affordable VR experience.”
The Merge VR is now available in a new color, Moon Grey, throughout North America. Also the company has announced a new prototype universal motion controller for mobile VR. It is called “Moonshot” and will be compatible with current Android and iOS devices, as well as United and Web VR.
Amazon is currently offering an additional discount on Merge VR, whereby the device is available for just $35.99. So hurry up and avail this offer!
