Metal Gear Online Patch 1.02 Is Finally Available On PSN, Here’s How To Download It

Konami has recently released a brand new update for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This update also comes with a new patch for Metal Gear Online that updates this portion of the game to version 1.02. If you tried to launch Metal Gear Online after updating to the latest version of the game, you would get a message asking to update it to the latest version. As it stands, the patch wasn’t actually live on the PlayStation Store until recently.

If you still haven’t managed to download Metal Gear Online Patch 1.02, you can now do so by launching the game and updating to the latest version (1.07). You will be prompted to download the Metal Gear Online 1.02 patch along with the game update, if you haven’t still downloaded it yet. Konami has confirmed that while the PlayStation Store still lists the update as 1.01, it is actually patch 1.02 for Metal Gear Online. It is around 1.3 GB in size.

You can read the full set of patch notes in the screenshots below. They are listed for both Metal Gear Solid V and Metal Gear Online.
