Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Day 1 Update Is Live, Adds FOB Support And Optimization

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has received a day 1 update ahead of the official launch. This update brings the game to version 1.01 and adds support for the multiplayer as well general stability and optimization.

If you are one of the lucky users who managed to snag an early copy of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, you can now download this update clocking in at roughly 421 MB on the PS4. The reported size for this patch is about 150 MB on PS3 and 750 MB on the Xbox One.

In addition to the update for The Phantom Pain, Konami has also released an update for Metal Gear Solid V prologue Ground Zeroes. This update allows you to upload your save data to carry it over to The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be officially released on September 1st for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
